Shaw F-16s resume night flying

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  Residents near Shaw Air Force Base may notice increased flying activity during the evening hours Jan. 29 through Feb. 1 due to a temporary increase in the number of flights after sunset.

These flights provide Shaw F-16 pilots with the opportunity to train with night vision equipment and practice tactics that are critical to survivability in combat.
