Shaw Aircraft Resume Night Flying

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Residents near Shaw Air Force Base may notice increased noise activity during evening hours through the remainder of March due to a temporary increase in the number of flights after sunset.

These flights provide Shaw F-16 pilots with the opportunity to train with night vision equipment and practice tactics that are critical to survivability in combat.
