Shaw Airman Killed In Off-Base Fire

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  A Senior Airman assigned to Shaw’s 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron died this morning in a Sumter house fire. 

Shaw and Sumter fire officials responded to the fire at approximately 4 a.m. 

The victim’s identity is being withheld until 24-hours after next-of-kin notification.
