Shaw AFB Seeks Environmental Public Meeting Participation Published May 17, 2023 20th Fighter Wing Public Affairs SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Shaw AFB invites the public to participate in a Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) meeting, 6:30-8:30 p.m. on May 22, 2023, at the Patriot Park Pavilion (200 General Dr., Sumter, SC 29150). The Shaw AFB Environmental Restoration Program manages remediation of contamination from past operations on and surrounding the base. The RAB provides a forum for the base, the community, and regulatory partners to discuss and exchange information on current and future environmental cleanup projects.
