Joey Logano to visit Team Shaw

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --

Joey Logano, 2X NASCAR Cup Series Champion and driver for Team Penske, will be visiting Shaw Air Force Base, May 7.

During his visit, Logano will tour facilities and immerse himself in the day-to-day life of a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, fly in an F-16D Fighting Falcon with the 77th Fighter Squadron “Gamblers,” and meet Airmen, Soldiers and civilian employees who work at Shaw.

This event is taking place ahead of the 65th Coca-Cola 600 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 26, where over 40 service members assigned to Shaw AFB will be representing the Armed Forces as part of planned Military Appreciation activities.
