2026 Shaw Air & Space Expo will include Thunderbirds, Golden Knights

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  

The 2026 Shaw & Space Air Expo is scheduled for March 28 – 29, 2026 and the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, will headline the event.

Eight officers serve as highly experienced pilots, and four serve in critical roles including flight doctors, maintenance, an executive officer and public affairs. The more than 130 enlisted members represent nearly 30 different career fields, combining years of training and experience to provide hour-long demonstrations showcasing the USAF’s advanced capabilities.

Also performing is the United States Army Parachute Team, the Golden Knights, comprised of expert parachutists, aviators and support personnel. The team represents the pinnacle of Army professionalism and skill.
