Shaw Air Force Base Postpones 2026 Air & Space Expo

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  

The 20th Fighter Wing has announced the postponement of the 2026 Shaw Air & Space Expo, which was scheduled to take place from March 28-29.

This difficult decision was made due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances.

"We are incredibly disappointed that we need to postpone this year's expo, but it is the necessary and responsible decision at this time," said Col. Kevin D. Hicok, 20th Fighter Wing commander. "The Shaw Air & Space Expo is one of our favorite ways to connect with the Sumter community and all of our neighbors across the state of South Carolina, and beyond. We are committed to hosting this event at a later date and look forward to welcoming everyone back to Shaw AFB then."

The 20th Fighter Wing will announce a new date for the event when one is confirmed. All updates regarding the Shaw Air & Space Expo will be posted on the Air & Space Expo website, www.shawairexpo.com, and the Shaw Air Force Base official website and social media channels.
