Shaw Air Force Base Airmen Passes Away in Off-Duty Vehicle Accident Published July 13, 2026 20th Fighter Wing Public Affairs SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- U.S. Air Force Airman Pablo Caballero-Molina, an active-duty service member assigned to the 20th Fighter Wing, died following an off-base vehicle accident in Lexington County, South Carolina, June 28. Airman Caballero-Molina, 21, was a Precision Guided Munitions Support Technician assigned to the 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron. He had served in the Air Force since April 1, 2025. "We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Airman Caballero-Molina," said Col. Hugh Walker, 20th Fighter Wing commander. "Pablo was a valued member of the 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron and the Shaw family. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and teammates during this incredibly difficult time.
