SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- A Shaw Air Force Base F-16 C fighting falcon crashed today near Charleston Air Force Base at 11:30 a.m.

The pilot on board is accounted for.

A team of investigators will convene to determine the cause of the accident.
