Real ID Act compliance South Carolina was recently granted a grace period to implement Real ID Act guidelines by July 10, when enforcement will become mandatory. The state’s initial limited extension to allow federal agencies acceptance of state IDs expired June 6.
Aug. 8, 2016 Some IDs may be invalid starting Aug. 15 Individuals will no longer be able to access Air Force installations with a state-issued identification card or driver’s license from Minnesota, Missouri, Washington or American Samoa beginning Aug. 15.
