General Aviation Fly In

Purpose

The intent of the fly in is to engage the general aviation community to educate them on military flying operations in the region in order to promote mid air collision avoidance.

Participation Instructions

To participate in this event, see the below instructions:

  • Print DD Form 2402 (located below)
  • Fill out blocks 2b and 5. Include the following:
    • Aircraft type
    • Call sign (Registration #)
    • Total persons on board
    • Pilot/passenger's name(s), social security number, birthday
    • Airfield origin
    • Pilot's phone number/e-mail address
  • Wet sign section 2b(3) in BLUE INK
  • Scan/e-mail form to 20oss.baseops@us.af.mil   
    • Form must be sent no later than 21 July, 2017
  • The original form will be collected upon landing at the event
  • Arrival, taxi, and parking plan will be e-mailed once DD Form 2402 has been received

Flight Plan Instructions:

  • File departure airport as KSSC and annotate final destination

NOTAMs:

  • No AVGAS (plan accordingly)
  • Bring your own parking chocks

Other:

  • Pilots should arrive between 7:30-8:45 a.m. First briefing starts at 9 a.m.
