2/1/2012 - SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- F-16 Fighting Falcon pilots with the 77th Fighter Squadron executed an elephant walk during an Operational Readiness Exercise Jan. 31 here.

The elephant walk is  when aircraft taxi down the runway in large numbers representing the ability to generate a large number of aircraft needing to take off rapidly for military response.

The 20th Fighter Wing successfully generated 18 aircraft during the ORE.
