6/5/2012 - SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- This week's Shaw Spotlight is Staff Sgt. Michael Kelly, 20th Component Maintenance Squadron avionics intermediate shop production supervisor, from Harleyville, S.C.
"Try to learn something every day," said Kelly. "If you're not learning anything you're not gaining anything."
Kelly has been in the United States Air Force for eight years and has been stationed at Shaw four years.
"Staff Sgt. Kelly constantly shows his concern for his Airmen and the mission," said Senior Airman Joshua Craig, 20th Component Maintenance Squadron avionics intermediate shop team leader. "He is a consistent example for all of us, regardless of rank."

Goal: Make enough money and enjoy it
Biggest accomplishment: Being entrusted with running the AIS Section in place of a master sergeant for two months while also going through a logistics compliance assessment program
Heroes: My mom, raised me as a single working parent and made me who I am today
Favorite Food: Steak
