6/5/2012 - SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Spouses of pilots and some other Airmen assigned to the 55th Fighter Squadron "Shooters" and Shooter Aircraft Maintenance Unit had the opportunity to taxi in an F-16 Fighting Falcon May 24 here.

The 55th FS taxied spouses to orient them to the F-16 cockpit and as a token of their appreciation for their spouses' continuous support during back-to-back deployments. Shooters supported NATO-led operations over Libya and a four-month deployment to Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea.
