1/29/2013 - SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- This week's Shaw Spotlight is Master Sgt. Maurice Toole, 20th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, squadron lead production superintendent from Cleveland, Ohio.
Toole has been in the Air Force for 22 years and plans to retire soon, he explained.
"Toole knows his stuff," said Master Sgt. Darrin Starr, 20th AMXS production superintendent. "When he leaves he will be hard to replace. He is more than reliable, he is always on the move and helping people."
Toole's motivation to get up every morning is his inner passion for his job, he said.
"Tomorrow is never promised," said Toole. "I have lost too many family members who died from other people killing them, not even because of age. Growing up it taught me that life is never guaranteed."
