8/14/2012 - SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- An F-111 Aardvark joins four planes on display at the main gate here. It took four months to prepare the Aardvark for display which included reassembly and repainting the aircraft. This aircraft was flown from 1970 to 1993 and during that time it was assigned to the 20th Fighter Wing. A dedication ceremony for the F-111 is scheduled for Sept. 12, 2012 and will take place at Air Park at 1 p.m.
